The Community & Humanitarian Department focuses on empowering women and communities through education, support and other essential services.
Standing with families
From sponsoring children's education to distributing sewing machines, winter clothing and gifts, the Cooperative has stood with vulnerable families in Kalandia Camp and beyond for decades.
Programmes and initiatives
Children's Sponsorship Scheme & University Student Fund
Covering education fees and basic needs for vulnerable children and youth through sponsorship.
Literacy & Education
Courses in literacy, civic awareness, first aid, health and wellbeing, and general awareness lectures.
Early Childhood Education
The Cooperative owns Takreem, a fully equipped kindergarten, and runs summer camps for children.
Youth Engagement
Youth take an active part in the Cooperative's activities, building community participation and leadership experience.
Emergency & Humanitarian Aid
Aiding vulnerable groups to alleviate poverty and promote wellbeing.
Awareness & Advocacy
Lectures and sessions on elections, labour law, and the laws and values of the international cooperative movement.
